Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including sterilizing instruments and setting up treatment rooms
- Assist dentists during complex procedures, including handling instruments and materials
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting with precision
- Provide post-operative instructions and ensure patient comfort throughout visits
- Coordinate inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintain strict infection control and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant certification or RDA license
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- CPR certification with current BLS credentials
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Willingness to accommodate flexible scheduling
