Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging technology
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize equipment
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling and record management
- Apply fluoride treatments and cavity-preventive agents
- Assist in dental emergencies and manage patient comfort
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (DEXIS/CS 3D preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
