Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce infection control protocols
- Count and track surgical instruments, sutures, and supplies
- Transport patients to/from surgical areas and provide post-op care
- Assist in sterilization processing of surgical equipment
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing and aseptic techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure surgical environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Current BLS certification
