Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and treatment rooms following OSHA protocols
- Take digital dental radiographs and impressions with precision
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Epic practice management software
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide oxide monitoring
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinical efficiency
- Provide chairside support and post-operative care instructions
Qualifications
- Minnesota Dental Assistant license (DALECC or DANB certification)
- 2+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental imaging
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- CPR/BLS certification from Red Cross or AHA
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software preferred
