Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic work
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision and safety
- Maintain sterile instruments and operatory setups following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient charts and scheduling using Dentrix/EagleSoft software
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Coordinate lab cases and inventory management for seamless workflow
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Georgia Dental Radiology license required
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control procedures
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills for diverse procedures
- Strong communication abilities for patient education and team collaboration
- Experience with practice management software (Dentrix/EagleSoft preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
