Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including crowns, bridges, and implants
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs and intraoral images
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict OSHA compliance
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or accredited program)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR certification and knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in dental imaging software (E.g., Dexis, Eaglesoft)
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
