Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontics
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict OSHA compliance protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials for seamless procedures
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene
- Manage digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate inventory and supply ordering for optimal efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant License (RDA or DA preferred)
- Certified in Dental Radiography (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in infection control and HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar practice management software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting
