Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams and complex treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and digital scheduling systems
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Order inventory and manage dental supply chain
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program certification (or equivalent experience)
- Georgia Dental Assistant license (or eligibility)
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Experience with digital imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
