Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient records using digital systems like Eaglesoft
- Sterilize equipment and maintain infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal workflow efficiency
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with dental software (Eaglesoft preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity
