Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform infection control and sterilization protocols
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Assist with restorative procedures and dental impressions
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain dental operatory supplies
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Texas RDA license
- 1+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and sterilization
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- CPR/BLS certification
