Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, extractions, and restorative treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain dental equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care
- Manage patient records using our HIPAA-compliant digital system remotely
- Schedule appointments and handle insurance verification paperwork
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and manage supply chain logistics
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification from accredited program (e.g., DANB, CODA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with digital dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work independently remotely
- CPR certification and radiology certification
- Valid Florida Dental Assistant permit
