Responsibilities
- Chair-Side Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines for sterilization, disinfection, and infection control protocols.
- Radiography: Perform dental radiography (X-rays) and ensure proper exposure and development according to safety standards.
- Patient Care: Comfort and educate patients before and after procedures, ensuring a positive dental experience.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charting, and treatment plans.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and order dental supplies and equipment to ensure the practice runs smoothly.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Skills: Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) and knowledge of modern dental technology.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
