Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and telemetry units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain strict adherence to hospital protocols and JCAHO standards
- Participate in shift handoffs and ensure continuity of care
- Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications per unit)
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
