Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Assist dentists during complex treatments using advanced equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Perform administrative tasks including appointment scheduling and record-keeping
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DA required)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient satisfaction
