Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms with utmost efficiency and care
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging
- Coordinate patient scheduling and seamless appointment flow
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-operative care
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or AZDA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent knowledge of infection control protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuing education in dental advancements
