Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA and CDC protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and perform chairside assistance
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Maintain precise digital records and inventory of dental supplies
- Coordinate scheduling and ensure seamless clinic workflow
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Dental Assistant certification (CDA or RDA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and X-ray license
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
