Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage patient flow and prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments
- Take accurate dental radiographs and maintain digital patient records
- Administer infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Provide chairside support with suctioning and material handling
- Coordinate patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant certification or RDA status
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification and knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
