Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Perform precise dental radiography and ensure diagnostic image quality
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Manage patient flow and prepare treatment rooms for optimal efficiency
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models for prosthetics
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Manage digital dental records and practice management software
Qualifications
- Active RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in California
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and imaging systems
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software preferred
