Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform digital radiography and advanced imaging techniques
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization processes
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside assistance for 8+ daily appointments
- Implement practice management software for scheduling and records
- Train new dental assistants on clinic protocols and equipment
- Conduct preliminary patient assessments and vital sign monitoring
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Dexis and Eaglesoft practice management systems
- CPR/BLS certification and X-ray license
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume practice
- Experience with digital impression systems (e.g., iTero) preferred
