Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including fillings, crowns, and extractions
- Digital X-ray imaging and intraoral photography
- Patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Sterilization and instrument management per OSHA guidelines
- Dental charting using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Inventory management and supply ordering
- Scheduling and patient communication coordination
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Ohio Dental Assistant license
- 1+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona)
- CPR certification (current)
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Attention to detail in infection control protocols
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
