Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize equipment and maintain clinical hygiene protocols
- Take dental X-rays and perform chairside assistance
- Manage patient records and scheduling systems
- Provide post-operative care instructions and support
- Order supplies and maintain inventory control
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and dental board regulations
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Texas RDA license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging (DEXIS, Sirona preferred)
- Strong knowledge of infection control procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Spanish fluency a plus for diverse patient population
