Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgery
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting using advanced dental software
- Sterilize equipment and maintain infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Take precise dental radiographs and impressions for prosthetics
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 8 operatories
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Planmeca) and Eaglesoft software
- CPR/BLS certification with valid credentials
- Exceptional communication skills for patient rapport building
- Detail-oriented approach to infection control protocols
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
