Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain strict hygiene standards.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Manage patient records and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Guide patients through the patient intake process and educate them on oral health.
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and handling billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent state licensure required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a dental office setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a warm, patient-centric demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with the clinical team.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
