Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials according to infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort
- Manage patient records using our advanced digital charting system
- Administer chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Provide post-operative instructions and ensure patient satisfaction
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-recognized)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a general or specialty dental practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create a calming environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
