Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and maintain sterilized instruments and treatment areas following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and patient comfort
- Manage patient records using advanced dental software systems
- Provide chairside support and educate patients on post-treatment care
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between exam rooms and reception
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proven experience with digital radiography and dental imaging
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for diverse patient interactions
- Meticulous attention to infection control protocols
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced clinical environments
