Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical cases
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suction management, and four-handed dentistry
- Execute digital radiography and intraoral imaging with advanced SOTA equipment
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance for infection control
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Coordinate seamless workflow between hygiene, restorative, and specialty departments
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Dental Assistant certification (CDA/RDA)
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft and Dexis imaging systems
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Commitment to continuing education in dental innovations
