Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and surgeries with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a sterile environment for all procedures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and verify insurance information.
- Provide post-operative care instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Coordinate with the front desk to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Current State Dental Assistant License (or enrollment in a CODA-accredited program).
- CPR and BLS Certification (Current).
- Previous experience in a general dentistry office is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
