Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage patient flow and ensure sterile treatment environments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Implement infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography systems (DEXIS, Sirona)
- Strong knowledge of dental software (Epic, Dentrix)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to continuing education
