Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital imaging systems (X-rays, CBCT) and ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and equipment for optimal efficiency
- Delieve patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Manage inventory ordering and supply chain logistics
- Coordinate seamless communication between patients, specialists, and administrative staff
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification and radiology proficiency
- Mastery of Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or comparable practice management software
- Exceptional chairside demeanor with strong patient rapport skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment while maintaining precision
- Colorado state dental radiology permit and DANB certification preferred
