Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during patient examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
- Manage patient intake, updating medical histories, and scheduling appointments.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and post-care instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Handle front desk reception duties such as insurance verification and billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- No prior dental experience required. We are looking for eager learners!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform fine motor tasks.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Attention to detail and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory.
