Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures using provided advanced dental equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take digital dental impressions and process X-rays using modern imaging systems
- Manage patient records and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Administer patient education on oral hygiene and aftercare
- Order and inventory dental supplies using our integrated inventory system
- Coordinate with front office for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid California dental assisting permit
