Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using advanced equipment
- Manage digital imaging systems and chairside software
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
- Take impressions and prepare temporary restorations
- Train on new dental technology quarterly
- Maintain equipment calibration logs
- Support patient education using intraoral cameras
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- OSHA and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- CPR certification
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems preferred
- Strong attention to equipment maintenance protocols
