Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures using advanced equipment including digital radiography and CAD/CAM systems
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA guidelines
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal operatory setup
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Administer fluoride treatments and sealants
- Maintain digital patient records and chairside software
- Train on new equipment as technology evolves
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (CODA or DANB)
- 2+ years of chairside experience in a general practice
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to work efficiently with modern dental equipment
- Arizona state radiology license
- CPR certification
