Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient records and digital imaging systems
- Take dental impressions and pour study models
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Order inventory and maintain equipment calibration
- Train on advanced digital tools including intraoral scanners and CBCT units
Qualifications
- Ohio Dental Assistant license or DANB certification required
- 2+ years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification current
- Excellent manual dexterity and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple procedures simultaneously
- Experience with digital radiography and CAD/CAM workflows
- Strong attention to infection control standards
