Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and endodontics
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs with our advanced digital X-ray system
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments using autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners
- Manage inventory and restock supplies for 5 operatories
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide oxide monitoring
- Document patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Train new assistants on equipment protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Oregon Radiology license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Excellent chairside communication skills
- OSHA and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to manage multiple operatories simultaneously
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
