Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during restorative and surgical procedures using provided advanced equipment
- Operate digital radiography systems and intraoral cameras for accurate diagnostics
- Maintain sterilization protocols for all instruments and equipment
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems efficiently
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal equipment functionality
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Provide chairside assistance during complex procedures
- Implement infection control protocols per OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control procedures
- Excellent communication skills and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Ohio radiography license
