Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment using advanced autoclave systems
- Take digital dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Coordinate scheduling and inventory management of dental supplies
- Support front desk operations when needed
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Current CPR certification
