Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Operate digital X-ray units and intraoral cameras (equipment provided)
- Maintain sterilization protocols for all instruments and equipment
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal instrument inventory
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Coordinate lab orders and case setups
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA license (AZ)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in dental imaging and sterilization equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA and dental safety protocols
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- CPR certification
- Experience with digital charting systems
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
