Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using provided advanced equipment
- Perform sterilization and instrument management per OSHA standards
- Take digital X-rays and impressions using modern imaging equipment
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for various dental procedures
- Implement infection control protocols using provided sterilization systems
- Delve patient education and post-operative care instructions
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or radiology license in Missouri
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Schick)
- Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols and equipment
- Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Attention to detail with equipment maintenance protocols
