Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using advanced digital equipment
- Manage sterilization protocols for all instruments and equipment
- Take accurate digital dental radiographs and intraoral images
- Prepare treatment rooms with specialized dental instruments and materials
- Implement infection control procedures per OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Utilize practice management software for patient scheduling and records
- Train on new dental technologies and equipment as implemented
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program graduate or equivalent experience
- Current DANB certification or eligible for immediate certification
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental imaging software
- Minnesota Dental Assistant license in good standing
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems and digital impressions
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication skills and patient rapport abilities
- Ability to adapt to evolving dental technologies
