Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using provided digital imaging equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs using our digital systems
- Manage patient flow and documentation in our EHR system
- Provide chairside assistance during restorative and surgical procedures
- Deliver post-op instructions and patient education
- Inventory management for dental supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
