Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas using provided advanced dental equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures including chairside support and instrument handling
- Maintain sterilization protocols for all provided instruments and equipment
- Take digital radiographs using provided imaging systems
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies and materials
- Provide exceptional patient education and comfort support
- Document clinical notes using provided practice management software
Qualifications
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Experience with digital radiography and practice management systems
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently with provided advanced dental equipment
- Valid California dental assistant license
