Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using advanced equipment
- Manage digital radiography and imaging systems
- Sterilize and maintain all instruments per OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms with specialized equipment
- Take accurate patient medical histories and vital signs
- Apply topical anesthetics and cavity-preventive agents
- Manage inventory for dental supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Active DANB or RDA certification required
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- Proficiency with digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona)
- Knowledge of sterilization protocols (CDC guidelines)
- Strong patient communication skills
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with practice management software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
