Responsibilities
- Perform four-handed dentistry with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and impressions as directed.
- Manage patient records, insurance verification, and billing inquiries.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience.
- Current Ohio Dental Assistant license or ability to obtain one.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Red Cross or AHA.
- Proficiency in dental software and radiology.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
