Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and safety protocols
- Perform infection control and sterilization of equipment per OSHA guidelines
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems efficiently
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for optimal workflow
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with front desk staff for seamless patient experiences
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DALECC or DANB preferred)
- 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Minnesota state radiology certification
- Proficiency in dental software (Epic, Dentrix, or similar)
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited institution
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control discipline
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
