Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, crowns, and endodontics
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for optimal efficiency
- Provide exceptional patient education on post-op care and oral hygiene
- Coordinate digital charting and practice management software
- Support front desk operations during peak hours
- Maintain HIPAA compliance for all patient records
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (Texas Board required)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible shifts
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental safety protocols
- CPR certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
