Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization
- Order and maintain dental supplies and equipment
- Document patient information accurately in electronic records
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Dental Assistant certification (DANB preferred)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental setting
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software a plus
