Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorations, extractions, and oral surgeries
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records
- Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort throughout treatments
- Coordinate inventory and supply management for clinical operations
- Deliver post-procedure instructions and follow-up care guidance
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or radiology license in Maryland
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a dental setting
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis, Schick) and practice management software
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage anxious patients
- CPR/BLS certification and knowledge of infection control standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
- Positive attitude and commitment to team collaboration
