Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Take precise dental X-rays and maintain digital imaging systems
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Manage patient scheduling and chairside coordination
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and charts
Qualifications
- Current Michigan Dental Assistant certification or DANB credential
- Minimum 2 years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
