Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures, including chair setup and tray preparation.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and various treatment procedures.
- Take and develop digital dental X-rays (Radiographs) and intraoral images.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and charting treatments.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Order and inventory dental supplies and equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (CDA) or LSAT from an accredited program.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
